Dr. Karsten Werner

Dr. Karsten Werner has been a consultant at CHE Consult GmbH since 2022. He previously worked for 10 years as a research assistant at various universities and studied sports science at the German Sport University Cologne, subsequently earning his doctorate at the Psychological Institute.

Karsten Werner was head of the interdisciplinary junior research group “Motorics and Cognition” at the University of Potsdam with a focus on empirical educational sciences, cognitive sciences and applied psychology. The main focus of his leadership tasks was individual coaching in the context of career planning and development of young scientists, team development measures and the consistent implementation of the Open Science idea.
Previously, he was a research assistant for seven years, both in the Department of Cognitive Science at the University of Potsdam and in the Institute of Psychology at the German Sport University Cologne.
