Accreditation

The accreditation and re-accreditation of study programmes is a recurring task at all higher education institutions with modularised study programmes, which on the one hand requires additional resources and on the other hand brings with it challenges in terms of content and subject matter.

Both in the conception of a new study programme and in the further development of an existing one, higher education institutions are required to design each study programme on its own merits and in such a way that it fits in with the existing range of courses. Not only, but also in order to successfully pass the respective accreditation procedure.

CHE Consult supports higher education institutions in the preparation of the documents, especially in the preparation of the self-report. In doing so, we place particular emphasis on the requirements for the competence-oriented description of study programmes and modules. In addition to support in the accreditation process, we offer workshop formats and individual consultations that complement the process and strengthen higher education institutions for future study programme developments.

Our offer includes:

  • Self-report: text production and editing
  • Optimisation of module handbook
  • Individual coaching & feedback workshops
  • Process support

An essential focus of our work is the successful and sustainable implementation of the changes in the university. To achieve this, it is necessary to involve not only the programme directors but also the module leaders and lecturers in the process.
