Verena Fritzsche

Verena Fritzsche joined CHE Consult as an Associate Consultant in 2024. She has many years of experience in higher education management at internationally oriented institutions, including seven years as Managing Director at the NIT Northern Institute of Technology Management, the business school of Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). Her particular expertise includes set-up and development work, digital transformation in administration and teaching as well as ensuring the financial stability of institutions.

• Programme attractiveness / international student marketing
• Organisational development with a focus on digital cultural change
• Quality management: university, system and programme accreditation
• Leadership development: training/workshops and systemic coaching
• Facilitation of conferences and congresses in barcamp and open space formats
• Interim management at senior and middle management level

Verena Fritzsche holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources, Organisation and Innovation from the University of Münster. She is a project manager, systemic coach, certified quality manager and internal auditor. Her other professional positions in university management include Kühne Logistics University (Head of Programme Management) and the Hamburg School of Business Administration (Deputy Head of Studies). At the NIT, she set up a double masters programme in cooperation with the renowned NUAA Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in China. Verena Fritzsche has also served on various boards, including the Board of Trustees of the Leibniz Institute of Virology and the Advisory Board of the TUHH Startup Dock.
