Prof Dr Matthias Tomenendal has been an Associate Consultant at CHE Consult since 2024. He has many years of experience in higher education management, strategy consulting, organisational development and facilitation.

Prof. Dr Matthias Tomenendal holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Bielefeld, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and a PhD in Economics from the University of Saarland. He spent ten years as a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. Since 2005, he has been Professor of General Business Administration, specialising in Management & Consulting, at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, where he has held leadership positions at programme, departmental and university level. For twelve years he was Director of the Berlin Professional School. He conducts research on innovation and growth, is a reviewer for the Association of MBAs and works as a freelance consultant and moderator.
